Tonight we end a day that should be apart of our everyday life, to reflect on our blessings and be thankful for all we have. Everynight when I say my prayers I try to remember all the things that I am grateful for. Even the little things, such a washer and dryer in the house, or warm, clean running water, or a safe neighborhood to live in. Healthy babies, that can see and hear, run and play. I am especially thankful for Joshua, and the man he is. I am grateful for what a great Dad he is to Rylie and Ryan. There are so many things to be thankful for, not just today, but everyday.
Today we had our Thankgiving Feast over here at Ann and Roberts house. We were joined by 2 of Ann's sisters and their families and Ann's Mom and her husband. It was fun to have a house full, we had turkey, ham, green bean casserole, rolls, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, mmmm yummy! Ryan even had some turkey and gravey in his food net. (see the picture for a description).
Josh's dad is away working in Virginia, he celebrated his 50th birthday yesterday, so we mailed him a present and along with it a picture of the kids holding up a birthday sign.
This past weekend, Josh's Aunt Lynn and Uncle Marty came to visit for the weekend from California. It was nice to see them and catch up. They will be back for Christmas. (They offered for us to get married in the backyard....)
This last Sunday, Ann bought tickets for Sesame Street Live, so she and Josh took Rylie and her cousin Brianna. The original plan was for me to go and Josh would stay home with Ryan. But Rylie wanted her "DADDY" to take her, so Josh went. He took lots of video with her reactions and pictures. (He knows how I am with my pictures and video). They had a great time and it was nice for me to have time with my baby boy.
Ryan is growing so fast. Today he is 6 months old. The time flies. The other day he was on his stomach on the floor and I put my fingers out for him to grab and he pulled himself across the floor. He absolutely LOVES the Dog, anytime he comes in the room Ryans eyes light up and smiles so big. He loves eating solids, green beans, carrots, peas, pears, applesauce, prunes. My babies are growing so fast.
Josh is still working hard and enjoying his job. Another blessing.
Enjoy!
